Our client a leading Federal government agency is requiring a lead UX designer to engage with both business and technical areas to design intuitive user interfaces and bring them to life.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Leading user experience design activities in a multi-disciplinary agile delivery team in pre-discovery, discovery and design and delivery.
  • Facilitating co-design workshops and interviews with system owners, business area, and end-users
  • Creating user interface designs and interactive prototypes
  • Developing wireframes and functional specifications
  • Develop user personas. Create wireframes and prototypes.
  • Managing and developing a productive working environment with the business and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing by monitoring and keeping abreast of new testing technologies and systems, and providing recommendations for development, process and systems enhancements






Desired Skills and Attributes



  • You will have at least 5 years of UX/UI practice in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills - should be able to communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and through presentations.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously to deliver in a project and program environment while also being able to work cohesively in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver shared goals
  • Proven experience with running user testing/usability testing and an understanding of the digital landscape, technologies, trends and key tools
  • Baseline Security Clearence
