Your New Role

The Business Development Officer role is primarily responsible for driving efficient and effective operational relationships between Independent Financial Advisers, Licensees, Research Houses / Asset Consultants and the national Advice Relationships team.

This role will act as a point of contact and liaison with independent financial advisers to ensure they are able to interact and transact with Aware's Advice Relationships service model in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Understanding of working with a sales process and ability to support the National Manager - Advice Relationships to execute sales activity and campaigns for the team
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in engaging with external clients both in person and on the phone
  • Knowledge and experience working within the Superannuation and/or Financial planning process
  • Self-starter with strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to work autonomously and manage competing deadlines with high degree of confidence
  • Strong attention to detail, process and procedure expertise and aptitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as stakeholder management skills
  • You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
