What we are looking for:

This position is responsible for the delivery and support of IT services for the Affinity Education Group Centre Support Office and Centres.

The role:

  • Assist with developing IT plans that support AEG business objectives and communicate via quarterly IT Client forums.
  • Assist with the IT budget forecast and obtaining competitive pricing from suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Compile communication to the business regarding IT department updates.
  • Co-ordinate and support the IT team to ensure Customer Satisfaction Survey results are 4.0 or greater.
  • Ensure priority-based Service Levels for Incidents, Service Requests and Problem Management are met, as directed by Service Delivery Manager (SDM).
  • Proactively provide relevant IT reports to Team.
  • Maintain IT Service catalogue and asset register.
  • Support the provision of IT infrastructure, IT hardware and software to CSO staff and AEG centres.
  • Maintain relationships with other departments, centres, and vendors, to support required services, and provide solutions for issues that may arise.
  • Work with the Team to propose, agree and deliver IT service and support improvements.
  • Provide troubleshooting and timely communication to key stakeholders regarding IT service delivery, for outages, maintenance, improvements, and initiatives, as directed by the SDM.
  • Co-ordinate the supply of IT infrastructure, IT hardware and software to CSO staff and AEG centres.
  • Assist with the delivery of projects as directed by the Head Of Technology.

Skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in IT service delivery and supporting teams.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting
  • Vendor and stakeholder management experience.
  • Practical experience in support and co-ordination.
  • Practical understanding of IT.
  • Demonstrated sound judgement, business acumen and decision making in an IT delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships to facilitate partnerships and cooperation.
  • Remaining organised and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong operational and customer focus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Reliable, ‘can do’ attitude.

Permanent Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
