The ServicePlus Training & Engagement Specialist will work closely with the Hostplus Organisational Development team and partner training teams to design, deliver, embed, monitor and review high quality training and knowledge management solutions to Hostplus servicing employees primarily based within our external service delivery vendors - to uplift the experience and outcomes delivered to members. Ultimately, the aim is to deliver better retirement outcomes for Hostplus members in alignment with our ServicePlus framework.
The opportunity
As a ServicePlus Training & Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capability and performance of Hostplus servicing teams, particularly those within our external service delivery partners. You’ll lead training needs analyses, develop and deliver targeted learning solutions, and embed the ServicePlus philosophy to ensure exceptional service delivery and improved member outcomes. Working closely with the Head of Service Excellence, you’ll refine and implement the ServicePlus Outcomes Framework across internal and external teams, while also supporting key projects and business initiatives with your expertise in capability development.
In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with Organisational Development to maintain a robust learning calendar, manage training content, and ensure seamless integration of operational changes. You’ll design and evaluate training strategies, curate knowledge management systems, and drive engagement activities that foster a positive, inclusive culture. As a culture ambassador, you’ll lead initiatives that reinforce our CulturePlus values, promoting team cohesion and modelling behaviours that inspire excellence across all service channels.
About you
You’re an experienced learning and development professional with strong knowledge of superannuation, investments, and insurance. You bring advanced instructional design skills, with experience using tools like Captivate, TalentPlus, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint. You’re confident facilitating training across channels and have a solid grasp of project management principles.
Your communication and stakeholder engagement skills are excellent, and you’re highly organised with strong attention to detail. You’re comfortable learning new systems and have experience in training design, delivery, and evaluation. Essential qualifications include RG146 (or willingness to obtain), and credentials in training and instructional design. A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and qualifications in psychology or adult learning are highly regarded.
