Description

The Role

Responsibilities

As an Account Director, you will lead a portfolio of clients, ensuring their risk management and insurance broking needs are effectively addressed. Your responsibilities include nurturing client relationships, driving new business, and contributing to portfolio growth. You will also manage a small team, meet corporate growth objectives, and deliver senior-level client service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and oversight to a small team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and portfolio growth.
  • Implement and regularly review client service delivery, including holistic discussions on risk and retention strategies and multi-tier client engagement for qualifying accounts
  • Obtain formal annual client feedback for all qualifying accounts
  • Leverage WTW best practices to enhance team performance
  • Represent the client voice internally to guide decisions on processes, approach, and strategic direction
  • Ensure every client has an agreed service plan, with full implementation by client advocates
  • Proactively meet annual new business targets
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and major projects supporting team growth
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with insurers
  • Adhere to WTW Client Service protocols and compliance procedures

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Qualification
  • Preferably degree qualified
  • Extensive Insurance broking and or industry experience
  • Proven technical skills in coverage and wording review
  • Excellent understanding and technical proficiency of claims management processes
  • Experience with the placement and servicing of complex and multinational clients
  • Attainment of all regulatory licenses, permissions, and technical or other requirements applicable under local legislation
