Job Description

Our client is a federal government organisation with offices throughout Australia. Due to growth, they are seeking a Corporate Systems Team Leader to join the team in their Richmond or Geelong office.

Opportunity

  • Market Day Rate $800 Daily
  • 2-year term (12 months + 12 months)
  • Richmond or Geelong

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional workstreams (Transformation, Business Analysis, Procurement, or Financials) based on your experience and strengths.
  • Lead or co-facilitate stakeholder workshops, mapping requirements, surfacing risks, and building shared understanding.
  • Translate strategic direction into fit-for-purpose plans and delivery actions, coordinating dependencies across teams.
  • Develop clear artefacts such as procurement documents, business requirement documents, commercial principles, or financial models, in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Assist in procurement planning and execution including RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, contract alignment, and evaluation coordination.
  • Bring structure to ambiguity, working in environments with evolving requirements and limited documentation.
  • Help uplift internal capability through practical guidance, templates, and knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and organise material for meetings such as briefing presentations, reports updates etc
  • Maintain Program probity requirements.
  • Support interface with Procurement Branch, Probity Advisors, Legal Counsel & external agencies.
  • Other activities as directed by the Project Manager and Director Corporate System.

About you?

  • Consulting on complex programs – Lead consultative engagements across assigned workstreams (e.g. workshop facilitation) with senior leaders.
  • 8+ years across complex programs with a broad experience
  • Confident facilitator and communicator, able to work with both executives and delivery teams.
  • Comfortable navigating uncertainty, legacy constraints, and diverse stakeholder views.
  • Highly proficient in MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • University Degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Commerce, Economics.
  • Relevant industry qualifications e.g. Project/Program Management, BABOK/IIPM, COBIT, TOGAF, ITIL.
  • Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
