About The Role

Over the next two years, the Customer Transformation Risk Lead is responsible for leading the identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of risks that affect the successful delivery of the Customer Transformation Program. The Risk Lead will ensure the implementation of a robust and effective risk system in alignment with Energy Australia’s Risk Management Policy and Operating Procedures.

  • Lead risk identification, assessment, and reporting across the Customer Transformation Program.
  • Partner with the Customer Leadership Team and Enterprise Risk to drive strategic risk insights.
  • Facilitate risk workshops, top-tier risk reporting, and independent program reviews.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Champion a culture of proactive risk management and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Experience in the execution of Enterprise Risk Management within Customer Programs and design of internal controls frameworks.
  • Well-developed communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Minimum five years in a customer, transformation or related risk or risk, audit or compliance environment.
  • The ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders in a variety of business issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining an appreciation of innovations in the risk management area.
  • Proven ability to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, changing environment
