Systems Specialist

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented System Specialist to own and enhance key system domains, with a particular focus on workflow automation and data integration. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our enterprise systems. You'll take ownership of your platform domain, troubleshoot issues, deliver improvements, and partner with the business to drive reliable, efficient, and scalable solutions.

What you'll be doing…

• Take end-to-end ownership of your system domain to ensure performance, reliability, and ongoing improvement.
• Simplify and document existing system configurations, implement automation, and harden system processes.
• Identify and drive improvements in system architecture, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
• Provide responsive support to business users, diagnosing root causes of issues and implementing long-term fixes.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, responding to incidents and ensuring systems operate effectively across business cycles.
• Manage and respond to any system-related security or privacy incidents in a timely and compliant manner.
• Deliver projects and recurring requests, from requirement gathering through to configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Partner with business teams to agree on and implement roadmaps of prioritised initiatives that improve operational efficiency.

Your Talents…

• Degree in Information Systems or related field, with proven experience supporting and optimising ERP or enterprise systems.
• Skilled in data integration (ETL), web services, workflow automation, Advanced Excel, SQL, BI tools, webservices
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate across diverse stakeholders - connecting and translating complex business requirements into effective technical solutions, particularly within Finance or professional services processes
• Additional qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or Project Management are a plus.
• Experience with TechnologyOne, XLOne, agile delivery, change management, and tools like Jira
