Project Engineer | Water | 12 Month Contract

Job Description

CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long-standing client nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom across Australia. This company are a leading Main Tier Contractor who have a currently pipeline of works on the Eastern Seaboard alone in excess of over $1bn. They operate in a range of different sectors including Roads, Rail, Resources and Renewable Energies.

Responsibilities

They have recently secured $30ml of works from an existing long-term program and as of such have identified a need for a Project Engineer on join the business on a day rate hire basis until July next year. Working as part of a dynamic team your responsibilities will include:

• Development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Project Management Plans
• Construction planning, scheduling and progress monitoring
• Design constructability and compliance reviews
• Subcontract management – building, structural, piping, mechanical, civil, electrical and design contracts
• Cost Forecasting and Financial Management
  
  

Selection Criteria

• Minimum 5 years experience in a Project Engineering role
• Must possess demonstrated experience in Civil or Mechanical Construction
• Water Infrastructure experience is also essential
• Tier 1 Contracting experience is preferred
• Clear confident communicator
