Computer Vision Engineer - Python, Linux

Build AI solutions around real-life issues being tackled with computer vision technology.

6 month contract with the view to extend on!

Project Details:

• Instead of new hardware focus there is a real chance to enhance the existing cameras
• How can we look at existing camera vision and the view they provide then enhance this with AI solutions such as smart cues and teach it to think for itself
• Build on the current roadmap of these kinds of ideas, build POC's and ideally productionise them over time
• Example of roadmap is updating software on the cloud and the server as well as moving from client-based to the cloud

Skills/Experience:

• Experience with cameras and real computer vision work is an absolute must for this position, does not need to be from scratch but some experience working on computer vision/camera footage projects
• Strong elements of scripting and integration in this position - so ideally Python and Linux is your strong suite, however, if you can use C++ well then you can easily pick up the Python part, and vice versa
• OpenShift experience is a big plus
