About The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Producing Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS) for a variety of commercial, retail, and residential clients
- Inspecting and signing off fire safety equipment, including:
- Fire extinguishers
- Fire panels
- Fire alarms
- Fire hose reels
- Building strong relationships with clients, including strata managers, restaurant and café owners, pub operators, retail stores, office managers, and other commercial clients
- Ensuring all inspections meet compliance and safety standards, and maintaining clear records
- Full training — no prior fire industry experience necessary
- Flexible work hours — you manage your own schedule
- Autonomous work style — we trust you to plan and deliver your own jobs
- Company-provided tools — laptop, mobile phone, company car, fuel card, and e-tag included
- Base salary plus commission — the more jobs you complete, the more you earn (top technician is earning $200k/year)
- Work from home and on the road — a mix of remote admin and site visits

You Should Be
- Highly self-motivated - you need to be able to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
- Organised and reliable - you’ll be managing your own schedule, so good time management and common sense are key
- Strong communicator - you’ll interact directly with a variety of clients, so clear, professional communication is important
- Practical and hands-on — while full training is provided, you’ll need to feel comfortable inspecting and handling safety equipment
- A dynamic, fast-paced role where you’re out in the field, not stuck behind a desk
