As a UX Designer, you’ll play an important role in shaping the user experience of our software products. You’ll report to the UX Lead and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to create intuitive and efficient interfaces. Your work will directly assist our end-users to effectively perform complex work, critical to national and corporate security, defense and law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- User-Centric Design: Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Research and Analysis: Participate in user research and competitive analysis to ensure our product is a market leader.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of design solutions.
- Usability Testing: Participate in usability testing sessions and iterate based on stakeholder feedback.
- Accessibility: Advocate for accessibility best practices and ensure compliance with WCAG guidelines.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed design specifications and guidelines for development teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 3+ years experience in UX design, preferably with experience designing for SaaS, B2B products.
- Experience working with design systems.
- Excellent time management with the ability to work independently when needed and to hit timelines.
- Amazing creative problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in Figma.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Ability to communicate design concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- High social and emotional intelligence (people skills).
