Primary Objective: This role provides an interface between mental and physical health. The clinician will undertake assessments and provide support, advice and recommendations appropriate to mental health care to other staff, clients and family members in the general wards of the hospital. This will be informed by prior extensive experience in mental health community and inpatient settings. The role requires a strong cultural safety framework, a commitment to evidence based practice and experience working as an autonomous practitioner. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term. One vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 18 months.
