Certificate III Horticulture Parks and Gardens
We are looking for two apprentices to complete a 4 year apprenticeship in Horticulture, maintaining and caring for the local parks and gardens on north shore.
Working outdoors, duties include using machinery and equipment, pruning, planting, hedging, mowing, identifying plants, using fertilisers and chemicals, maintaining irrigation systems, identifying pests and diseases and many other varied tasks.
You will attend TAFE one day a week for 2.5 years for off the job training. Drivers Licence highly preferred, public transport available. Must be well presented for public contact and have good communication skills.
Hours are Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3.30pm with a rostered day off each fortnight. Great career path and opportunity for the successful applicants. Uniforms and PPE is supplied.
School Students: We welcome students wishing to complete 1 weeks work experience with a view to commencing the apprenticeship if suitable.
Australian Training Company (ATC) is a Group Training Organisation who employ Apprentices and Trainees then place them with Host Employers. No TAFE fees.
