The Opportunity:

We are searching for a materials and supply coordinator to join our Sydney team.

In this role, you will work alongside our high-performing team to drive performance adhering to KPI's in order to maintain the success of a growing organization. You will be responsible for all company purchasing-related functions, ensuring all production and sales requirements are met and inventory levels are maintained.

This a hybrid role and you will have the opportunity to work from Moorebank and Macquarie Park locations in Sydney. We do offer WFH 2 days a week.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring stock levels and determining best quantities for ordering
  • Working with all internal departments, to forecast stock levels, and around stock replenishment issues
  • Liaising with suppliers to maintain consistent stock levels on hand and manage expected delivery dates and proactively manage all exceptions, including backorders and overdue Purchase Orders
  • Anticipating and resolving any supply issues that may arise and resolve with suppliers and if necessary, arranging contingency products
  • Establishing and managing inventory targets that support operations and financial objectives
  • Maintaining planning system data to ensure the highest possible level of data integrity
  • Delivering required reports, metrics and analyses as needed in a timely manner

About you:

  • Experience in a supply chain planning role in the FMCG industry is highly desirable
  • Good knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Strong ERP/MRP skills with any experience of using SAP as an advantage
  • A high attention to detail and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong communication and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • A willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
