The Role

As the Senior Manager, Promotional Channels, you'll drive the strategy, execution, and performance of this retailer’s core promotional programs across catalogue (print and digital) and email marketing. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end P&L accountability and the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer engagement, brand perception, and sales outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Customer Engagement, you’ll lead a team of specialists and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial, Digital, and Operations teams to ensure promotional content is timely, compelling, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategy for catalogue and email channels aligned to business priorities
  • Lead high-impact promotional campaigns from concept to deployment and post-campaign analysis
  • Full P&L ownership: manage budgets, drive performance, and report to senior stakeholders
  • Implement innovations to grow engagement, conversions, and customer reach
  • Leverage tools such as GA4, Figma, and email automation platforms to optimise performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team


About You

  • Demonstrated strategic and executional marketing experience, ideally in high-volume B2C, retail or trade marketing environment
  • Deep expertise in catalogue and/or email campaign management
  • Proven ability to lead teams and own channel performance end-to-end
  • Strong commercial acumen with budget ownership experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of marketing analytics, customer journeys, and digital performance tools
  • Experience using platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Experience Manager, Figma, and email marketing tools (e.g Insider)
