About the opportunity
Our programs are designed to support whilst making the transition from student to registered nurse within a supportive and welcoming environment. The aim is to promote educational opportunities to graduates as you consolidate your theoretical and clinical skills. This is a structured program with a comprehensive orientation, paid professional development days, and debriefing sessions which are supported by a dedicated learning team.

  • Position is for 6 months Inpatient at Werribee Mercy Hospital, Werribee - and 6 months Community
  • Applicant must have a full Drivers License
  • Commencing in February and May.

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

  • Letter of application stating preferred hospital location, areas of clinical interest, preferred rotations, rationale for choice and future career plans
  • Two page Curriculum vitae, relevant experience and clinical rotations
  • Certified copy of academic transcripts to date (including 'key to results')
  • Two recent and certified acute summative clinical appraisals
  • Career intention statement via PMCV
  • References via PMCV
  • Please note PMCV interviews will be utilised for the review of applications

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • Registration as a Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
