The Role

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Department General Manager and senior leadership across Operations. You will provide expert business and project analytics, drive process improvements, and lead finance initiatives that maximise SAP system capabilities. Your role will be pivotal in supporting monthly management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and ensuring key internal controls are effective.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering hands-on financial modelling and analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Leading and mentoring other Finance Business Partners to drive team performance and collaboration.
  • Managing and owning the budgeting and forecasting process for the Operations area.
  • Partnering with senior operational leaders to provide financial insights and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of internal financial controls and supporting audit processes.
  • Supporting monthly reporting cycles, stocktake coordination, and product costing analysis.
  • Documenting finance processes and helping build SAP knowledge within the team.

About You

  • Tertiary qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or Business; CA/CPA preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in finance business partnering or commercial roles, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced with large ERP systems and Power BI
