Graduate and Early Careers Talent Partner

This includes leading the attraction and recruitment of graduate and early career talent to build a strong pipeline aligned with APRA's strategic workforce needs. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the role supports the design and execution of programs that provide meaningful career pathways for early talent.
The team
This position sits within the Talent and Mobility team in People & Culture and collaborates across the broader team, with business leaders and external stakeholders to ensure the early careers program is aligned with APRA's business objectives and workforce strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Co-develop and implement a revised early careers strategy and approach
- Design and deliver inclusive attraction strategies that reflect APRA's values and workforce priorities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for graduates and interns, ensuring a high-quality experience
- Partner with business leaders to define requirements and support selection processes
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners including universities and student associations
- Manage the graduate program lifecycle including business rotations, mentoring, networking opportunities and end of program placements, in conjunction with the Learning & Organisational Development team
- Monitor program effectiveness and provide insights to inform continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and reporting requirements

- Proven experience in graduate or early careers recruitment and program management
- Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Ability to design and implement strategic talent initiatives
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to use data and insights to inform decision-making
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Willingness to travel for university engagement and program delivery activities
