The opportunity:
Here at EBOS Group, we are on the hunt for a Cloud Engineer to join our IT team.
This is a key role critical to the success of the EBOS Group business and will require you to work on the support of key technology, deploy new technology as well assist the broader Wintel team using your extensive knowledge.
You will also be required to work closely with the various infrastructure and application teams, ICT Security, network, business partners, and internal colleagues to provide business as usual support and deliver strategic infrastructure projects focused around environment standardisation, definition of overarching frameworks, standards and policies ensuring Level 1 and 2 support teams are able to adopt and work effectively on BAU tasks through mentoring and handover collateral.
As such your strong collaboration skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical people, as well as your positive attitude and willingness to learn new things and guide less experienced peers in delivering first class solutions.
What you will do:
- Establish and promote the highest levels of Customer Service to EBOS Group Users;
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal EBOS Group IT staff;
- Work collaboratively and manage expectations with various stakeholders;
- Manage and participate in multiple simultaneous projects with overlapping deadlines;
- Support and maintain the EBOS Group infrastructure, managing assigned Incidents and requests to deliver services in accordance with established Service Level Agreements;
- Participate in projects to deliver services in line with established objectives;
- On-call support and response to unplanned and unpredictable situations that may occur at any time over a 24/7 period;
- Engage internal infrastructure teams in assigned BAU & projects to ensure knowledge transfer and a supportable solution at the end of the projects;
- Ensure adherence to EBOS Group Policies & Procedures.

- Ensuring deployment and implementation of IT infrastructure Standards that supports the
- EBOS Group;
- Continuously maintaining and improving service levels to the Business;
- Input into the research and selection of new technologies consistent with the needs and benefits
- of the business.
