The Role
We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at Kings Canyon Resort. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality staff meals for up to 80 team members during peak season, with service delivered in a hot and cold buffet style for both lunch and dinner.
It’s a great opportunity to showcase your skills in a unique, remote location with a supportive team and stunning surroundings.

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery

What We’re Looking For
- A passion for Australian native ingredients and an eagerness to learn
- Creativity and input into menu development based on seasonality
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in a similar role (for Senior CDP, leadership skills are a plus!)
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or lengthy tenure in chef role)
- Food Handling Supervisor certificate
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster
