Senior Technical Business Analyst

• $900 / Day Inc Super

This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading

Ey Responsibilities

• Work on end-to-end delivery of POS and payments-related projects within a complex retail environment
• Facilitate and lead workshops with internal stakeholders, including finance, architecture, and operations teams
• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements with clarity and precision
• Work closely with external vendors and internal IT teams to align solution delivery with business needs
• Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, functional specs, process flows, and user stories
• Support testing, validation, and solution sign-off processes
• Act as a key liaison between the finance team, solution architects, and project delivery leads
  
  

Experience & Skills Required

• Experience as a Business Analyst with a strong track record in retail environments
• Proven experience working on POS and/or payments projects is essential
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality deliverables under minimal supervision
• Experience leading and facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions
• Solid understanding of the retail business model, especially financial reconciliation, transaction flows, and customer payment experiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across business and technical teams
• Experience working with architecture teams and external vendors to align on solution designs
