We have a new opportunity for a Senior Front-end UX Developer (React) to join our Melbourne team. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in our Hawthorn office.

About The Role
- Implement responsive, reusable, and accessible front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, and WCAG standards across mobile and browser devices
- Collaborate with product designers and front-end developers to bring wireframes and mockups to life
- Refactor existing components to enhance brand customizability and implement modular CSS patterns
- Conduct accessibility reviews and implement fixes based on WCAG 2.1 (or later) standards
- Participating in solution design, development and testing activities.
- Building the solution and presenting to stakeholders.
- Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training.
- Collaborating with team members ensuring delivery is met.
- Upskilling, Continuous Learning – for career and personal development.
- Participation with networking, dev days, hackathons, etc.
- Advanced proficiency with HTML5, CSS across modern frameworks
- Experience with React.js & .Net (6+)
- Experience contributing to design systems or component libraries
- Familiarity with modern browser behavior, performance considerations, and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience implementing and maintaining accessible UIs that comply with WCAG standards
- Experience with a frontend workshop for developing, testing, styling and documenting UI components (eg. Storybook)
- Knowledge or prior experience with Security Processes / Applications (OWASP?).
- Ability to engage with various team members, demonstrate sound analytical, design and problem-solving skills.
- Positive, proactive team player with the ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
- You are able to communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively.
- The desire to increase knowledge and skills when circumstances call for additional learning.
