Nurse Next Door is a certified Great Places to Work. We are looking to build our care team with a variety of experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses who are able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Job Requirement

About The Role

Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing is at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.

We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
  • Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Conduct Nursing Assessments

Skills & Experience

  • Community nursing would be an advantage
  • Subacute and disability experience.
  • Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Director of Clinical Operations.
  • Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours
  • Diabetes management
  • Dementia experience would be an advantage
  • Leadership experience is an advantage

  • Coachable
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • CPR & First Aid Certification
  • Car & Valid Drivers License
  • National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Approval
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
