Salary: 80000 -100000 AUD including super



What We Need from You




ESSENTIAL



· 5+ years in infrastructure support, operations, or engineering

· Expertise in VMware, Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud environments

· Strong scripting/automation experience: Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Shell




IDEAL



· ITIL v4 Certification

· Experience with Zerto Site Recovery

· Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Nagios)

· Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server in an infrastructure environment

The Role

· Due to increased demand for secure, modern infrastructure, this team is seeking a Compute - Infrastructure Operations SME to help lead its ongoing transformation initiatives.

· You'll oversee the migration from VMware Cloud Director to Azure VMware Services, implement Zerto Site Recovery, and guide infrastructure strategy across cloud and on-premise environments.




Key Responsibilities

· Lead and mentor infrastructure teams

· Ensure performance, availability, and compliance of hybrid environments

· Collaborate across DevOps, Security, and App teams on scalable solutions

· Manage incident, change, and problem resolution (ITIL-aligned)

· Drive automation with Terraform, Python, PowerShell

· Contribute to ongoing capacity planning and cost optimization
