The Role
Due to ongoing growth in client demand, we're looking for a WMware Engineer to join a high-performing support team focused on maintaining and improving critical IT systems. You'll be delivering expert support across cloud (Azure), server (Windows/Linux), and virtualisation (VMware) infrastructure-with an emphasis on proactive monitoring, automation, and performance tuning.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Azure cloud environments
- Configure and maintain Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Monitor system performance, logs, and resolve application issues
- Manage VMware environments - virtual machines, storage, and cloud foundation
- Develop scripts and automation using Bash/Python, and tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Respond to incidents, manage tickets, and participate in on-call and shift rosters
- Collaborate closely with internal teams for smooth service deliver
