Network Engineer

Launch are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with NV1 clearance to join a leading consultancy based in Melbourne on a permanent basis.

You will have proven experience in network design and implementation and keen to be part of a forward-thinking team committed to delivering sovereign technology solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing advanced routing, switching, and wireless network solutions
• Leading SD-LAN and SD-WAN design and deployment (experience with Juniper SD-LAN is a plus)
• Designing and implementing cloud networking solutions across Google, Azure, or AWS platforms (minimum experience on one platform required)
• Working with next-generation firewalls from industry-leading vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto
• Creating detailed technical design documentation including high-level and low-level designs, bill of materials, and configuration templates
• Developing comprehensive network testing strategies, test plans, and executing testing phases
• Building cut-over and implementation plans aligned with change management processes
• Providing troubleshooting support during and after implementation
  
  

Key Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must hold NV1 clearance
• 2+ years’ hands-on experience in network design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of SD-LAN and SD-WAN technologies
• Cloud networking expertise with at least one major platform
• Experience with next-gen firewall deployment and management
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment
