Job Description:
We are seeking a new talent to join the team, where you can collaborate in client-critical infrastructure delivery, maintenance and support. Infrastructure Support provides the capability to Operate, Run, and Support infrastructure used by the Applications in scope. Where incidents and problems occur, the goal is to work collaboratively with the client’s teams to address the root cause and restore services as soon as possible. Infrastructure Support Services manage the Production (Prod) infrastructure but will include DevTest and Pre-prod where required.
Key Responsibilities:
As an application support Analyst, you will act as a software assessor, providing a dynamic service to identify and solve issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will be expected to perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will be required to actively participate and contribute in team discussions, as well as contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems. You are required to be proficient in Windows Admin and Patching.
Ability to lead a team of Infrastructure Co-Ordinator(s) and Infrastructure Analysts daily to ensure smooth functionality and consistent uptime with client environments.
Certification and/or training on ITIL v4.
Participate in reviews, escalations, and critical events with key consumers of environments and incorporate feedback.
Lead a team to help client and app teams define, design, and create target infrastructure that meets end-user requirements.
Review existing processes, tools, and technology the client uses and provide recommendations on enhancements.
Technically assisting the team in triaging critical incidents & representing the team in CAB calls (where applicable).
Fluent in scripting tools including Terraform, Python, bash/shell/PowerShell.
Advanced level experience with VMware, Azure & AWS cloud technologies.
Well versed with Windows and Linux Operating Systems installation, configuration & troubleshooting of L2 incidents for instances configured in On-premises and/or cloud.
Regular catch-up with client infrastructure leads to understanding the upcoming scope and resolving conflicts.
Good understanding & experience with the SDLC lifecycle
Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Ready to work in shifts, on-call to provide 24/7 support.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Monitor infrastructure performance and their associated Services utilising available tools.
Adhere to the client’s IT Delivery Standards, and procedures, where applicable.
Perform continuous improvement activities.
Job Qualifications (Must Have Skills)
Expert Windows Admin
Expert in VMware, Azure & AWS cloud technologies.
Windows patching tools.
Fluent in scripting tools including Terraform, Python, bash/shell/PowerShell.
Advanced hands-on working knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems installation, configuration & troubleshooting hosted on-premises or cloud.
Proficient in infrastructure monitoring tools and technologies.
Job Qualifications (Preferred Skills)
Ability to quickly develop prototypes and proof of concepts.
Must be an Australian Citizen, and a security clearance is desirable.
Additional Requirements:
On-call and Shift Expectations: Our positions are primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction
