The Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a seasoned Learning and Development Trainer. You will play a vital role in delivering onboarding and initial training programs for new hires. Your primary goal will be to enhance the speed to competency and improve employee retention by providing effective and engaging training experiences. You will facilitate training sessions and continuously assess and improve our training processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging training across technical, functional, and soft skill areas using a mix of facilitation techniques.
- Own onboarding coordination by keeping training plans and registers up to date.
- Measure what matters by delivering post-training evaluations and sharing insights on impact and effectiveness.
- Adapt your style to suit different learner needs, whether it’s a fast-paced cohort or one-on-one support.
- Training experience: At least 2 years delivering training sessions, ideally with high-volume cohorts.
- Tech & communication skills: Confident with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel), and a strong communicator across all levels.
- Stakeholder savvy: You know how to work with different teams and keep them engaged and informed.
- Experience delivering sales training in a contact centre environment.
- Exposure to regulated or complex industries.
- A Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or similar.
- Resilient, self-driven, and principled — you lead by example.
- Collaborative and customer-focused, with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Results-oriented — you’re great at planning, solving problems, and following through.
- Technically solid, especially when it comes to designing, delivering and evaluating training programs.
- You’ll make a real impact — shaping the success of every new hire and driving performance across the business.
