Senior Mechanical Designer

Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team in our Brisbane office.

About The Role

• Prepare 3D layouts (using Smart Plant 3D) and detailed drawings.
• Provide oversight to project design team while working on deliverables in line with project requirements
• Be a key contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies
• Review vendor drawings and design data.
• Provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures.
  
  

About You

• Detailed knowledge of materials handling & mineral processing
• Significant experience in 3D modelling
• Prior experience with Smart Plant 3D highly desirable
• Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards industry regulations and HSE practices
• Proficient in the layout of process plant equipment
• Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data
• Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices
