Description The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ROSEN Australia's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems. This role will provide technical expertise in HSE practices and standards, foster a strong safety culture, and ensure environmental and safety compliance through active coordination and engagement across the organization.

  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the HSE Management System.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on specific HSE systems and industry standards.
  • Support personnel in applying HSE systems, processes, and standards across operations.
  • Plan, execute, and close assigned HSE-related projects and day-to-day HSE tasks.
  • Facilitate HSE Committee meetings and Emergency Response Team (ERT) meetings.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct emergency response drills and exercises.
  • Conduct HSE risk assessment reviews and ensure timely updates.
  • Monitor environmental performance indicators and drive environmental improvement initiatives.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and transfer of HSE systems and standards across departments.
  • Assist in fostering a healthy, safe, and incident-free workplace culture.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of practical experience in an HSE function, including the development and implementation of HSE programs and processes.
  • Technical training or qualification in Occupational Safety, Health, Safety Engineering, Safety Science, or Environmental Health (preferred).
  • Knowledge of industry-recognized standards used in pipeline inspection (an advantage).
  • Experience with workplace HSE inspections, incident investigations, and internal audits.
  • Internal Auditor certification in ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 in accordance with ISO 19011 (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Australian HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to plan and lead emergency drills and conduct risk assessments.
  • Experience in tracking environmental KPIs and initiating environmental improvement measures.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage staff at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
