About the Team

Our Corporate lawyers have represented participants in some of Australia's largest transactions and provided advice on the implementation of company transforming deals.


Our Corporate team help clients navigate through all aspects of its commercial ventures, including public and private M&A transactions, Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Corporate Governance, Private Equity, foreign investment, and venture capital transactions. Our Partners specialise in a wide range of projects and transactions in the mining, petroleum and energy sectors; financial services; media; transport; wine and other beverages; building products; and consumer products.


Our Corporate team acts as a trusted advisor to ASX-listed and multi-national corporations, Private Equity firms, funds managers, leading overseas law firms, issuers and underwriters, and start-ups.


About the Role

An opportunity exists for an Associate or Senior Associate (3+ PQE) to join the Corporate team in our Adelaide office. This role will see you take the lead on high-profile corporate transactions including drafting, reviewing and negotiating core transaction documents; undertaking due diligence reviews and managing specialist teams' delivery of advice; performing legal research on complex issues; and receiving on-the-job training and mentoring from some of Australia's leading specialists within the corporate sector.


This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, energetic, and commercially-minded lawyer to play a meaningful role in interesting and complex commercial transactions.


About You

You obviously have plenty of technical aptitude and previous relevant experience, but there is much more to you. You:

  • deliver legal advice with a commercial and client focused outlook, always;
  • work well under pressure, meet your deadlines and excel working in a team;
  • have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and you aren't afraid to use them, internally and externally;
  • take a collaborative, positive and energetic approach to everything you do;
  • will have gained at least 3 years’ PQE private practice corporate law experience; and
  • be passionate about training and mentoring junior lawyers.
