Description
We’re currently recruiting for an Enterprise Account Executive who’ll be responsible for driving sales revenue and maintaining relationships with specified customers within our Higher Education and University segment.
They will will represent the Salesforce team specifically focusing on education customers, demonstrating Customer Focus while leading all aspects of the sales process and customer relationship. This includes Account Planning, Lead Qualification, and Management through Negotiation and Closing, with a focus on building long-term relationships with key institutional stakeholders. This is a quota-carrying sales position and plays an integral role in the overall success of the sales team

Key Responsibilities
- Territory and Account Planning: Develop and implement effective account strategies to achieve sales objectives, understanding higher education opportunities, customer priorities, and procurement cycles.
- Sales Management: Meet and exceed sales quotas by prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities in the public sector.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and coordinate a matrixed account team, including Sales Consultants, Business Development Representatives, Customer Success Managers, and Marketing teams, to drive pipeline growth and customer success.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners to enhance account and territory plans.
- CRM Management: Track and manage customer and transaction information in the CRM system, ensuring accurate reporting of pipeline and forecast.
- Customer Relationships: Develop deep relationships with public sector accounts by understanding their challenges, regulatory needs, and industry trends, positioning Salesforce as a trusted partner.
- Customer Success: Stay ahead of competitive issues and demonstrate how Salesforce solutions align with public sector needs, including budget constraints and regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with leadership, customers, and partners, ensuring alignment with customer priorities.
- Engagement Activities: Participate in team-building and company growth activities, including strategic planning, sales training, marketing efforts, and customer care.
- Travel: Visit customer locations as needed to support sales efforts.
