About The Role
You’ll join a close-knit team who are as people-driven as they are process-driven. As an ICT Helpdesk Officer, you’ll be the go-to first line support for all help desk enquiries â playing a key role in delivering fast and effective technical assistance to employees across Health Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively responding to system support requests through phone and the helpdesk request system â delivering prompt, solution-focussed assistance that keeps the business running smoothly.
- Proactively escalating complex support requests to the right IT team members or third-party technology suppliers as required, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.
- Proving hands-on troubleshooting and support for computer, printer and telephone issues.
- Supporting and contributing to system access security reviews and performing routine maintenance tasks, making sure our systems are staying secure, reliable and ready for action.
- Password resets, OS deployment and image maintenance, computer software updates and security patching, as well as getting in on the action with various other IT tasks and projects when needed!
You’re a highly motivated and customer centric person with a keen interest in IT operations. You also have:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, paired with sharp analytical thinking and a proven talent for solving problems effectively.
- An eagerness to collaborate in team settings and the drive to continuously learn and grow within your role.
- The ability to take initiative and drive tasks forward autonomously, while staying in sync with the vision and general guidance set by the Team Leader Technology Operations.
- Experience in a helpdesk environment and/or supporting studies relating to IT will be a big plus!
