An exciting opportunity for a newly qualified graduate interested in a career within the Family Violence sector who has a demonstrated ability and interest in developing the appropriate advanced skills and knowledge.

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated professional, to join our Inner Gippsland Specialist Family Violence TOD team.

The Graduate Hub Practitioner role will work to establish and strengthen linkages and protocols with government and non-government agencies. You will work within The Orange Door network as part of a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners to maintain an effective and responsive service. The role will provide high quality, safe and effective responses to women, children and families seeking support and safety from family violence.

The Ideal Candidate will bring:

• An understanding of the social and political issues impacting women and children escaping family violence.
• The ability to engage people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to receive referrals into the Orange Door program and actively engage in crisis response, intake and initial assessment.
• Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence | Working With Children Check | Police Check | Pre-Employment Health Declaration.
• A tertiary qualification is required in Social Work (preferred) or appropriate qualification, asper Royal Commission Recommendation 209 – Mandatory Minimum Qualifications for Specialist FV Workers and experience relevant to this position.
