Job Profile Summary
Work closely with the business leads to drive financial performance, understand and mitigate
business risks, manage investments and accountability and provide advice, guidance, and
challenges to the team, when appropriate, to improve performance. The Commercial Account Leadership
team’s target outcome is to meet or exceed Accenture's deal economics through rigorous adherence to the
commercial process. They do that by implementing, integrating, and managing the four pillars - financial,
contract management, resource / project management and commercial relationship, and by providing an
analytical focus to enhance commercial performance. The job responsibilities include developing,
maintaining, and ensuring delivery of a service model that meets the business needs and that drives profit
agenda by understanding performance drivers while meeting the compliance obligations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all commercial aspects of Accenture's relationship with a client to optimize financial and business
operations results - while serving as part of overall account leadership to deliver client value
Drive financial performance for the account (e.g., sales, revenue, and profitability), run account operations (e.g., EACs, billing,
collections, etc.) and manage P&L
Clearly manage and lead the risk management process to proactively identify
and mitigate project risks
Develop and maintain a service delivery model to meet the business needs, monitor
contract financials and meet legal and contract compliance obligations
Establish and maintain on site engagement
and long-term relationships with key customers
Ensure superior, consistent delivery against Accenture’s contract
commitments in line with client expectation and manage business development efforts, including business
strategies, safeguarding revenues, profits, and reputation
Manage and grow some of our most important client
accounts, while driving profitable sales growth
Bring the right people from the growth platforms and operating
groups to architect innovative solutions for the client that are tailored to their business needs. Provide in depth analysis and evaluation of industry trends, marketplace dynamics between agencies and suppliers, and ongoing strategies of the company.
Development
Grow and develop a robust, long-term sales pipeline, thus ensuring a healthy flow of new business opportunities for the company
Partner with other Finance team members in monthly forecast cycles, working with functional leaders to identify planning assumptions for key business drivers.
Develop and manage contract compliance initiatives, strategic programs, and develop solutions to support evolving business and market needs
Build a strong rapport with client C-suite leadership and commercial counterparts based on established common goals and fact-based discussions – while also being principled in negotiations
Engagement
Enhance project delivery and avoid any risk or commercial exposure to the company, while contributing directly to value creation and commercial gain to the company and the client
Engage with prospect organizations to create opportunities by making the connection between the client’s strategic priorities and the Accenture offerings, solutions, and people to address these priorities through strategic value-based selling, and business case definition
Occasionally the job might require identifying, executing, and synthesizing market research and competitive intelligence to aid in strategic decision making
