About the role

We have a part-time opportunities for experienced Hospitality Workers, which includes shifts within cleaning, kitchen hand and laundry to join our Terrace Gardens facility located in Palmerston, NT. This role attracts a base salary of $28.26 - $30.44 / hour gross dependent on experience.

Your role as a Hospitality Worker will see you primarily providing support in our kitchen as a kitchen hand, however, when required will also support in areas of cleaning and laundry. This role is being offered on a part-time basis and working a set roster as outlined below:

Shift – 16.00 – 19.30pm only – Week 1, Tue, Wed Sat and Sun, Week 2 – Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat and Sun.

This crucial role is a part of the facilities operational team and supports our residents to have a positive and safe lifestyle.

This opportunity will suit a person who is able to present a resume that shows experience in kitchen hand, cleaning and ideally laundry services.

As the ideal candidate you will be a committed person who is able to commit to full-time hours and the shifts given to you. You will be a proactive person with a caring nature. You will enjoy supporting the elderly and working in a busy environment.

Skills & experience:

To be considered for this role, you must submit a resume identifying the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in working in one or more of the core areas of a Hospitality worker – Cleaning, Laundry, or Kitchen support.
  • Currently holds or willing to obtain the Certified Food Handlers Certificate – 3.2.2A.
  • Able to commit to full-time hours and have ARRCS as your sole employer.
  • Be well presented, organised, and committed to work.
  • Comfortable to be flexible in your duties and have shifts rotate around Cleaning, Laundry and Kitchen duties.
  • Have a caring and supportive nature towards vulnerable people.
  • Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment.
  • An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.
