We’re on the lookout for two passionate, solutions-focused Senior Food Technologists to join our newly formed Science and Innovation team. Known for our fast-paced, forward-thinking environment, in these exciting roles, you'll develop a range of innovative new yoghurt products while also refining and evolving our existing portfolio.

As a Senior Food Technologist, you’ll lead end-to-end product development—from initial brief and bench development through to final sign-off, scale-up trials, and launch readiness. You’ll also play a key role in commercialisation activities, including technical artwork briefs, customer presentations, and seamless handover to Operations. These projects will be both innovative and impactful, helping us delight our customers and consumers while advancing our mission of bringing better food to more people.

Both roles are primarily based onsite at our modern Dandenong South headquarters—home to our manufacturing operations, laboratory, and pilot lab, where all the Chobani magic comes to life. We have one permanent opportunity, and one 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover available.

Skills & Experience:

• Ideally to be successful in the role you will have:Extensive experience in Food Product Development within food manufacturing (dairy knowledge is a must!)
• A deep knowledge of dairy ingredients, design principles and methodologies
• Expertise in bench formulation, factory trials, commercialisation, and problem solving through each step
• Solid communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
• An ability to juggle multiple projects like a pro, hit deadlines, and prioritise initiatives simultaneously
• A true passion for innovation, new product development, and, of course, all things dairy
• A degree or master's in food science/technology
