Your Role
We are looking for a talented Research Scientist to join our innovative team, specializing in paint formulation. In this exciting role, you will apply your expertise to develop new and improved paint and coating products, working with both solvent-based and water-based technologies. You’ll play a key part in ensuring consistently high product quality and supporting our technical objectives while adhering to safety and sustainability standards.
This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge product development projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders to analyze data and deliver results on time. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Safety and Sustainability requirements.
- Maintain and improve Product Quality, consistently meeting end user performance expectations.
- Deliver New Product Development projects (NPD) on time and to agreed timelines.
- Contribute to the advancement of technology platforms that underpin our products.
- Foster a culture of excellence in formulating science and best practices.

- Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience formulating solvent-based and water-based paints, coatings, resin binders, and polymers.
- Strong chemical knowledge with the ability to link chemical technologies to real-world performance.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting with excellent communication skills.
- Well-developed computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP experience is advantageous.
