We are looking for a tech-savvy individual to assist with an operations support role for 12 months (with potential to be extended). Start date is immediate. Please only apply if you have the full availability for this time period.


Start Date: ASAP

Location: Melbourne or Sydney - hybrid

Working Hours: 9am to 5pm (preferably), weekdays only, up to 40 hours per week

Uniform: casual. Whatever you're comfortable in!

Rate: $44.42p/h plus super


About the Role:

As a contractor within the Rider Operations team, you will support the planning and execution of core processes and perform key reporting functions. You will also support the delivery of ongoing and project-based work in line with the broader Rider Operations strategy for Australia and New Zealand.


What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Airports Team in the optimisation of rider experiences at the airport, including pick-up zones configuration and improvement measurement
  • Build internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve business outcomes
  • Support the set-up, testing, execution and quality control of new and existing processes or programs
  • Assist with weekly performance reporting, communicating key insights with stakeholders from across the business
  • Support your manager in the delivery of end-to-end projects, from initiation to execution


What You’ll Need:

  • University degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business/Commerce, Social Science, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience applying analysis to solve business problems (could be through university coursework)
  • Ability to learn new processes and tools quickly
  • Well rounded communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Very proficient at using Google Suite, especially Sheets (or Excel)
  • Ability to run (and continually optimise) recurring weekly processes
  • Can work autonomously
  • Above all else, a “can-do” attitude and initiative are the most important qualifications!
