At Lyrebird we're looking for a Enterprise Business Development Manager to join our team.

About Us

Lyrebird Health is transforming the quality and accessibility of healthcare by automating clinicians' most time-consuming tasks. Placed in General Practice, Allied Health, and Specialist clinics, Lyrebird is saving clinicians on average two hours per day and enabling a level of care that was previously impossible. We're on a mission to build technology that healthcare professionals can trust, and we need a visionary sales leader to help us drive growth and deliver on that promise.

About The Role

We’re looking for a driven and strategic Enterprise Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting mid-level opportunity for someone with proven experience in healthcare sales—ideally selling into large healthcare organisations, hospital networks, or specialist groups. If you’re passionate about healthcare, technology, and building meaningful customer relationships, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll play a key role in driving the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close—while helping shape and execute our enterprise sales strategy. Your understanding of health systems, funding structures, and decision-making pathways will be critical to your success in this role.

You’ll bring a strong commercial mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders. This is a growth role with significant exposure to strategic accounts and high-impact opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Sales & Business Development

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle with enterprise healthcare prospects—from initial outreach to closing deals.
  • Identify, target, and engage decision-makers within large healthcare providers, hospitals, and specialist groups.
  • Qualify and nurture inbound and outbound leads, ensuring alignment with our ideal customer profile.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and product demos tailored to the healthcare sector.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms, working closely with legal and leadership as needed.

Commercial Strategy & Operations

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to execute go-to-market initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Track and report on pipeline health, key metrics, and forecast accuracy using CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Gong).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales processes, playbooks, and customer engagement strategies.

Market Intelligence & Research

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving healthcare funding and policy landscapes.
  • Conduct research on target organisations, stakeholders, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Share insights and feedback with internal teams to inform product positioning and market approach.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide feedback from the field to influence product development and messaging.
  • Support alignment between customer needs and internal priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of sales or business development experience, with at least 2 years in the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated success selling into healthcare organisations—ideally public or private hospitals, health groups, or digital health platforms.
  • An understanding of healthcare systems, funding models, and enterprise decision-making processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using CRM and sales tools (e.g. HubSpot, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to manage and grow pipeline.
  • A self-starter mindset with strong time management and a bias for action.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach—comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced team.
  • A collaborative, start-up mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team.
