About the role

We are seeking a proactive Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our MTC Recruitment team in Parramatta. Reporting to the Perm Team Leader, the position will focus on permanent recruitment in both the blue-collar and white-collar sectors. Your key focus will be conducting sales calls and visits to generate new positions for you to fill. You will thus be handling end-to-end recruitment processes from initial client engagement through to successful placement. You will have access to an extensive list of lapsed clients, a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will generate business for you and an incumbent who can guide you. You'll be responsible for recruitment across a broad geographic area - covering regions east of Homebush and Bankstown in Sydney, as well as opportunities to recruit nationally.

About you

To be effective in this role you will have:

• Previous experience working as a permanent or sales consultant
• A sales background
• Previous proven success generating new business
• A positive can-do attitude
• High attention to detail
• Exposure to recruitment CRM packages is an advantage
