Engineering CAD and Systems Administrator

The Role:
Working within the Product Development team located at our head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne, we are seeking an experienced CAD and Systems Administrator to support our local and international engineering teams. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our CAD and Engineering based systems across our multiple engineering sites.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and improve the use of Engineering based software tools across our local and international sites.
- Identify, develop and maintain documentation and tools to support best practice use of Engineering software and systems for product design and life cycle management.
- Facilitate collaboration between teams through the use and expansion of CAD and PLM systems.
- Provide technical support and training to local and remote engineering teams.
- Work with our IT team to specify and maintain hardware and infrastructure to support local and remote teams
About you:
- Experience with the administration and deployment of engineering design and PLM systems in particular SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
- Strong communications and documentation skills with a proven ability to provide technical support.
- A systems based approach to problem solving and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Attention to detail, with strong time and task management abilities.
- Experience with the administration of the following software packages will be highly regarded:
- CATIA, Siemens NX, Siemens Teamcentre including supplier/customer portals.
- Program management software (Wrike, SharePoint)
