About The Role
Are you an experienced software developer with a passion for innovation and excellence? Join our team as a Software Developer and play a pivotal role in advancing our latest product, StudentPayPlus.
StudentPayPlus, a Sentral product, is an online platform offering school uniform and supplies stores, as well as canteen meal ordering solutions. Launched in 2023, StudentPayPlus facilitates cashless transactions, benefiting parents, schools, and volunteers. Our solution integrates global expertise with local contributions, collaborating closely with our partners in the USA and Canada.

About The Role

As a key member of the team you will:
- Design and implement improvements to the Sentral StudentPayPlus product suite within a cross-functional team environment;
- Proactively and reactively maintain the Sentral StudentPayPlus product lines, embedding quality into the development process;
- Stay updated on Sentral StudentPayPlus technologies and frameworks, adapting to evolving technology trends to enhance the product;
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and the broader organisation to ensure market-fit solutions that address customer needs;
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, problem-solving, and improvement by supporting and collaborating with colleagues.
We’re looking for a teammate who will stand by our values and bring them to life. A brand ambassador who collaborates, partners and stands with us.
You will also bring:
- 3 + years commercial experience in software development;
- Proficiency in major programming languages and frameworks such as .Net C#, Java, React and MS SQL Server;
- Experience with software development patterns, including OOP and MVC;
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices;
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve organisational goals;
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and software development trends;
- Strong organisational skills complemented by a problem-solving mindset.
- Full work rights in Australia
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Ability to obtain an Australian Federal Police Check
The salary range is $120, 000 - 125, 000 per annum + superannuation.
