Ventia is seeking an Electrician based in New South Wales and ACT within our Operations & Services Division. The successful candidate must have a solid understanding, but not limited to Small to Large DC power systems, Solar Power systems, Industrial AC including EPP install and maintenance and Telecommunications alarm telephony.

About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for an Electrician / Technician in our Ventia business in New South Wales & ACT.
- Reporting to the Field Area Manager and Senior Field Area Manager
- Providing full construction activities, maintenance, and fault response on a range of equipment
- Working autonomously as well as part of a team
About You
To be considered for this role you must have proven experience and knowledge of:
- DC Power Systems (rectifiers, batteries)
- Emergency Power Plants (Generators)
- Solar Powered Systems
- Station alarm experience in ACCADS, TESAMS and Ai Remote platforms
- Facility Maintenance issues requiring minor handyman skills
- Radio & Optic fibre technologies requiring sound fault diagnostics and rectification skills
- Various software and other applications including use of Maximo or Structure Builder (desirable)
- High Level of computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Off road (4WD) driving experience(desirable)
- Working at heights/Tech Rigging or prepared to undergo training
- Confined Space or prepared to undergo training
- CPR LVR (Mandatory)
- First Aid (Mandatory)
