Your opportunity
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will deliver the Digital Strategy and provide digital support and training to the asset marketing teams to enable the implementation of dynamic digital marketing initiatives that grow our audience, drive traffic, sales and community engagement. This is a national role, bringing to life the range of innovative and leading campaigns and programs across our Retail assets.
In this role you will:
- Support in the delivery of the national digital marketing plan including ownership of allocated projects and the demonstration of creative thinking and an innovative proactive approach to solving customer and stakeholder problems to deliver the desired outcomes.
- Understand each asset's marketing plan and key customer audiences to support the assets to deliver creative and innovative digital initiatives and content that drive engagement, sales, traffic and audience growth.
- Provide training, support and guidance on content, management and maintenance across all digital platforms for the Asset Marketing teams.
- Coordination and creation of national website, edm and social content to support the retailer offer, national programming, and key retail calendar events to drive engagement, sales, traffic and audience growth
- Support asset, portfolio and program level digital KPI reporting to ensure targets are met or exceeded, and educate teams on how to interpret and understand these metrics
- Financial management including working within given budgets and regular tracking of purchase orders and invoice processing to ensure marketing expenditure and cashflow not exceeded and an accurate spend across programs, initiatives and costs can be reported
- Foster strong internal relationships across the Asset Management, National Marketing and Asset teams to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of overall digital objectives and strong engagement with national digital initiatives
Your point of difference
The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in digital marketing, preferably within the retail sector. You have a proven track record in managing social and digital channels to drive community engagement and achieve business objectives. You possess strong strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to adapt to change, manage ambiguity and solve problems proactively. Exceptional organisational and resource management skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. You will demonstrate experience in data acquisition strategies, and combine analytical expertise with creative thinking to deliver effective campaigns. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical to succeed in this role. Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
