We are currently partnering up with one of the most highly regarded insurance companies in Australia, to search for an experienced and skilled Senior HSEQ Consultant to join their Perth team.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of new business and retention of existing business, while providing expert HSEQ advice to our clients. Your new role
  • Provide expert HSEQ advice to clients and develop strategic plans to meet their HSEQ needs
  • Coach and mentor work teams to improve their HSEQ practices and performance
  • Develop and implement HSEQ management systems that meet international ISO standards and legislative requirements
  • Facilitate business, project, and task-specific risk assessments using proven risk assessment methodologies
  • Train and facilitate HSEQ management, leadership, and risk management programs
  • Assist clients with the delivery of their HSEQ implementation plans
  • Conduct onsite governance activities to ensure risk control measures remain effectively implemented

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Coaching and mentoring of client work teams on sound HSEQ practices;
  • Development of HSEQ Management systems that meet company and international ISO standards and legislative requirements;
  • Development and implementation of HSEQ Training packages;
  • Configuration of clients SafeX software portal
  • Identification of critical risk control measures based on the client’s organisational risk profile;
  • Assisting clients with delivery of their HSEQ implementation plans; and
  • Onsite governance activities to ensure risk control measures remain effectively implemented
  • Tertiary studies and additional field-related certificates or diplomas, including Lead Auditing, Occupational WH&S, and Lead Auditing
  • Ideally, you would need a minimum 5 years' experience working within a Work Health and Safety capacity with consulting experience
  • Strong knowledge on project and task specific risk assessments using proven risk assessment methodologies (ISO 31000);
  • Prior experience auditing to ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
