Reporting to the Group Human Resources (HR) Manager, the Senior HR Advisor is a newly created role to provide operational leaders with HR support across the full employee lifecycle. Working in a supportive HR corporate team you will collaborate with site leaders to drive people initiatives, foster a high performance culture and ensure compliance with relevant workplace legislation and company policies. This will include providing advice, coaching and support matters across matters of performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, remuneration and benefits, conflict resolution and continuous improvement. Your role will require high engagement on site to build effective relationships and deliver consistent in-person support, and hence regular travel to sites (approx 40% of time) with a flexible schedule.

To be successful you will be a professional HR generalist with demonstrated experience in delivering effective HR support to a mine site or similar operational environment. You will have a strong working knowledge of Australian Employment Law and human resources best practice, high attention to detail, developed problem solving skills and a passion/drive to work together to achieve great outcomes.
