Let's talk about this role

This is a full time, 6 month Fixed Term Contract as Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer.


The focus of this role is to accurately process and manage the payment of invoices, employee expense claims, corporate credit cards, claim related payments, commissions payable & receivable, creating invoices/RCTI's & statements, debt collection, journals and month end activities, ensuring nib's policies and procedures are followed at all times.


Let's talk about you

The successful person for this position will have previous experience in a similar role, with high volume processing and general ledger transactions.


Practical knowledge of the application of GST is also critical, along with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.


Furthermore, we're looking for:

  • Proven accuracy and efficiency in data entry
  • Analytical skills including being able to identify, assess and solve problems
  • Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Able to communicate in a clear manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Experience using MS Excel, Outlook and accounting software, ideally Finance One
