We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Food Technologist to join our dedicated team. This person will play a vital role, providing technical solutions for longer-term activities within the product categories, as well as manage daily product development projects, ensuring timely delivery following the NPD process for our White Milk, Juice and Milk Based Beverages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new product development and commercialisation of marketing and consumer concepts
• Coordinate activities and interactions with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure project priorities are identified and monitored
• Implement optimisation and process value creation initiatives to enable Bega to meet cost saving targets
• Identify & gather consumer needs and insights, and translate them into product attributes
• Implement improvements in product design and processes while maintaining product consistency and quality

About you

• Demonstrated experience in a technical/product development/process and quality improvement role within the food industry
• Identify and implement improvements in product design and processes while maintaining product consistency and quality
• Experience working within Food Science and Technology - raw materials, packaging, processing, formulation design
• Strong communication skills including written for a variety of reports
• Understanding of quality management systems
